The Armor of God

We've all heard of putting on the full armor of God, but why is that important?

What is the armour of God?
As described in Ephesians 6, the armor of God is portrayed as a belt, a breastplate, shoes, a shield, a helmet, and a sword. Each of these pieces of equipment are important to anyone that id going out to battle, and leaving any one piece of this equipment would be foolish. This illustration is help us on our daily walk of salvation. Without any of the above items, we will fall and be devoured by the enemy.

So how does the "whole armor of God" relate to my spiritual walk?
