In Chemistry, in order for one element to break up another set of elements, it has to be stronger than one of them. We measure the element's strength by an "Activity Series". Similarly, in our walk with Christ, in order for Satan to separate Christ from us, he has to be stronger than one of us. Obviously, he isn't stronger than Christ, and if we examine the Word, we find that there is no way he is stronger than us.
We can measure our strength by the word of God. Since all scripture is truth and inspired by God, we can apply our lives to the bible and follow it's commandments so that we can know our own strength and what kind of weapons we are working with.
I had this little revelation while sitting in my Chemistry class this morning. It's amazing what the Holy Spirit can reveal to you when you least expect it!
