Here's the info on the third day of my challenge: my prayer time has increased dramatically, and my bible reading time has practically doubled. For those I praise the Lord, the only One who has given me strength to survive the past few days of this strict discipline that I have forced upon myself.
My biblical focus was on Romans 7-9. These chapters had a big impact on my day. The 8th chapter of Romans is my absolute favorite book of the Bible. It's filled with such wisdom that if we apply to our lives, that we can all grow in our faith. For example: the first verse is so inspiring to those who are new to the faith because it tells us that there is no condemnation to those who are found in Christ.
Tonight at church we had our communion service and it was so much fun. The worship band played a few songs, (with me on the bass) and then Pastor Martin said a few words then the whole church came together and took communion in remembrance of Christ. It was such a great memory of looking over the mass of people holding up their candles and praying. It was awesome!
