Here's a picture of the Food Pantry room at SFWC. They minister to about 35 families each Monday and Thursday night. They impact the Summerville community with warm smiles and they display the love of Christ with every bag they distribute.
I love the idea of distributing food to those who need it; but especially when they get to minister to widows because it gives them a chance to live out I Timothy 5:3. Ever since the days that Christ walked on the earth Food Pantries like this have been helping out the local community with food distribution. Acts 6:1 talks about a "daily distribution of food" aka a food bank.
