Pocket Full of Rocks "More Than Noise"

With a name like Pocket Full of Rocks, it's not easy to overlook this American-based band, and one listen to their newest album "More Than Noise" will get you hooked. Front man Michael Farren pulls out all the stops once again with new songs like "Let Our God Be Praised" and "When Love Whispers Your Name". One notable part of this album is the rather ambient version of Farren's "Let It Rain" (made famous by Michael W. Smith) which sounds much like a Kid Cudi cover.

From a worship leader's perspective, the words found on this album are strong. The focus is clearly on worship, but the songs still maintain a rocking beat that everyone can enjoy. On the Taylor's Tasteful Tunes scale, this album gets a pocket full of 8.

Shows the greater sacrifice/Freely giving up His life/And for my pardon trade His majesty/Oh the wonder/Holy wonder/Beauty like the world has never seen /Is Your love for me/Is Your love for me/With every breathe and every song I sing/I echo back Your love for me.
~From the song "Your Love For Me"
