Tips On Leading A Modern Worship Team

Everyone wants to be a part of an effective worship team, but the one that keeps God in the middle of their worship service is the truly efficient one. Here's a few tips that we've implemented within DWB that we find useful. Enjoy!

1. If a member of your team is not going to be able to make it to practice on time, then you need to have them call or text you. If they don't they shouldn't be able to be on stage at that particular event.

2. You should have a scriptural inspiration for your worship set. You'll find this will keep you all on one accord and flowing in the same direction.

3. Choose the set list for the whole month at least a month in advance. This will give your singers and musicians time to learn the music that they will be ministering through.
