I woke up at about 10 o'clock this morning and got a shower. I straightened up my room, and got everything put back in order and then stared on my bible reading. I read three chapters of Romans this morning. I've read that book numerous times, but I felt like it would be a great choice to read during my challenge.
In chapters 1-3, Paul describes some cool thoughts that I took special notice to. First off, he suggests that as a Christian, you cannot be established if there are no spiritual gifts present (Rom.1:11). Another great notion, is that fellowship with other believers brings encouragement (Rom.1:12).
I developed a plan for the next 7 days in the shower this morning and I have three goals. The first is to knock off an old habit that keeps rearing it's ugly head in my life. The second is to get deeper in the Word of God, and the third is to grow even closer to God in our relationship. So far, so good!
It's only Monday, and already some things are working against me in my personal life that are causing me grief. I am taking this as a sign that Satan is trying to stop something amazing and great that God has in store for me from happening in my life!
