I've Finally Found My Purpose in Life

I was reading through the book of Luke in Discipleship the other night, and we stumbled upon something that I believe is my purpose in life. Its found in Luke 4:18.

"The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the poor; to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed".

I looked up a few key words from this verse, and I've included the biblical definition of them. Check em' out and replace the real words from the verse, with their definitions. Then maybe you might think differently about the verses meaning.

1.) Anointed= to rub with oil, to consecrate to an office
2.) Preach= to announce the good news, show good tidings
3.) Heal= cure, to make whole
