Guitar Tone Experiments: Update 1

I did a little experimenting with the setting on my POD XT live today, and I got some pretty awesome tones. The first thing I did was play around with the E.Q. that I had set up for my clean tones. There are many things that you can do to get a shimmering clean and me being me, I don't leave any tone without a unique piece of "Clydesdale".

On my clean rhythm tone, I have the faintest chorus effect shining through just barely. Not in excess, but just enough to shake up the sound waves I create. I also tuned the compressor down a lot, simply because I didn't like the sound to stay at the same level throughout. So it turns out you can compress too much!

My distortion tones are my pride and joy. I put a lot of work into finding what I accept to be an awesome mix between the Mesa amp model and the Tube-screamer pedal. I also turned up the 100 kHz E.Q. (bass) to give it a better boom if you know what I mean.
