My Future Decided

Now, i'm not sure about everybody else, but I love Mondays. I don't necessarily like waking up, but get me started, and I don't want to stop. It's that opportunity to catch up on all the things your friends did over the weekend. It's when you talk about changes, big or small. It's getting back into the swing of everyday life, and thinking to yourself, "Wow, I can't believe how fast that went".   And while some of us may not particularly like Mondays, we can all rest assured, knowing that it will always be on our heels. Always waiting to sneak up on us right after Grandma's home cooked roast at our Sunday dinner.

So the above lyrics are from a song called "My Future Decided", one of the new songs that Driven's praise band will be ministering with in this awesome year. I'm sorta nervous about this one, because its one of those anthemy songs, the ones that you HAVE to give your all. You know? But i'll tell you one thing: I love the fact that we belong to God. In the world today, many people are trying to find happiness, trying to find a place where they belong. Sometimes, they can't find it at their homes, at their work, or even with some of their friends. But thats when they can always turn to God for love, and they'll always receive it.

I'm really going to enjoy singing this song, because I feel like it's going to very easily help me to worship, and because it's so true. I know my future is decided, and I have chosen to follow Christ. Have you?
